Tour Overview:
The tour departs every Thursday morning and Sunday morning
- Start from Hanoi by bus in the evening at around 21:30
- 2 nights in the homestays in the villages
- Visit the most exciting places around Sapa by car and walking
- Places to visit: San Thang, Na Nang, Na Nuong, Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai.
Detailed Itineraries
Day 1 : Sapa – San Thang – Nung Nang – Na Luong – Sapa (B, L)
Pick up at Sapa bus station by Taxi to Cat Cat View Hotel around 6:00 in the morning.
It’s time to refresh and have breakfast at the hotel.
At 8: 00 AM, transfer to Lai Chau Province (near Sapa) and visit San Thang Kermis. San Thang Kermis is open every Thursday and Sunday. From early morning, the ethnic people of Lu, Giay, Mong, Dao, and Thai, in their most beautiful costumes, flock to the market with their diverse farm products, traditional specialties, and crafted objects, creating an animated space near the San Thang stream.
The market allows the locals to meet and chat with each other and even relax.
After visiting San Thang Kermis, the car will take you to Nung Nang Pass, on the top you can see all of Lai Chau City and its outskirts. Transfer back to Lai Chau to have lunch.
In the afternoon visit Na Luong village. Located next to the gentle Nam Mu River, 7km to the East of National Highway 4D, Na Luong Village (Na Tam Commune, Tam Duong District, Lai Chau Province) is where over 90 families with 400 members of Lao People live.
Back to Sapa, on the way visit Love waterfall.

Day 2 : Sa pa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)
Around 9.15 AM we will leave for a leisurely walk down the valley just behind Sa Pa, passing Y Linh Ho village. A little break will find its place on the way.
You will witness the beauty of this valley with its river and hundreds of rice paddies.
At 12am we will have lunch in Lao Chai village. You can see the little church built by the French in 1990 in Lao Chai village.
You can take a look in a village school classroom visit a Hmong House and learn about the local culture.
At about 3 pm, we’ll keep going to Ta Van village, where we’ll cross the river, and the bus will pick us up. Ta Van Village offers you a homestay and members of the Giay minority group. You will overnight in the homestay.
Day 3: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (B, L)
Breakfast at homestay.
Around 9.30 A.M. leave for trek to Giang Ta Chai Village.
We’ll go uphill to see the waterfall in Giang Ta Chai Village and enjoy the view.
Lunch in Giang Ta Chai .
After a steep descent, we can rest and wait for the car to pick us up and return to Sapa.
Take a bus to Hanoi around 17:00.
