Detailed Itineraries
Day 1: Sa Pa – Tram Ton Pass – Love Waterfall – Sin Chai – Sapa (L)
Pick up at Sapa bus station around 13:00 p.m. by Taxi to Cat Cat View Hotel.
It’s time to refresh and have lunch at the hotel restaurant.
14:30 the car takes you to Tram Ton Pass at 1.940m. From here trek into Hoang Lien Nature Park and visit Love waterfall.
After visiting Love Waterfall, we continued downhill to Sin Chai Village. The trail is less tough and goes through a well-protected area of Hoang Lien Son nature reservation, one of the wildest parts, rich in plantation and wildlife. When we arrived at Sin Chai village, we visited this pretty Black H’mong village.
Walking back to Sapa.

Day 2: Sa pa- Y ty market ( Muong hum market ) – Sa pa ( B, L )
8:00 AM: A driver and a tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Sapa town to whisk you away to Y Ty market, situated in Y Ty commune of Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. The market is about 70 km from Sapa town and is only open on Saturday.
The road to the market will take you to O Quy Ho Pass, which is 10 km away from Sapa town. From there, you will take a right turn to reach Khoang village. Moving further, you will reach Ta Giang Phinh village, which will offer you scenic views of its terraced rice fields. In the backdrop, you will enjoy the spectacular view of Five Finger Mountain (Ngũ Chỉ Sơn).
After the enchanting drive, you will reach the market. Your guide will now show you around the market, while telling you the history and cultural significance of the market.
Y Ty market is a small hill tribe market that is frequented by 5 different tribal groups: Giay, Flower Dao, Green Hmong, Ha Nhi, and Tay. The market is in full swing from morning to noon, people from faraway villages come to buy and sell agriculture products, livestock, brocades and handicrafts, etc. The market day is also their day to enjoy and have fun as they spend time with their family and friends to eat and drink rice wine. You may also try some local food here.
After visiting Y Ty market. You will have lunch at a local restaurant at Y Ty commune’s center.
After lunch, you will get to visit a local house of Ha Nhi people. Their houses are made with mud, bamboo and wood.
Transfer back to Sa pa .
Take a bus to Hanoi around 17: 00.
