3 Days 2 Nights Sapa Homestay Tour – Discover the Local Ethnic Cultures

Tour Overview:

  • Start from Hanoi by bus at in the morning at around 06:30
  • 2 nights in the homestays in the villages
  • Visit the most interesting places around Sapa by car and walking
  • Places to visit: Tram Ton, Love Waterfall, Sin Chai, Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai.

Detailed Itineraries

Day 1:  Sa Pa –  Tram Ton Pass – Love Waterfall – Sin Chai (L, D)

Pick up at  Sapa Bus Station around 13:30 in the afternoon by Taxi to Cat Cat View hotel.

Time for refreshing and having lunch at the hotel restaurant.

At 14: 30, the car takes you to Tram Ton Pass at the high of 1.940m. From here trek to Hoang Lien Nature Park and visit Love Waterfall.

After visiting Love Waterfall, the car takes the guest to Km 7 of O Qui Ho where We go down hill to Sin Chai Village.

The trail is less tough and go through a well protected area of Hoang Lien Son nature reservation, one of the wildest part, rich in plantation and wildlife.

When we arrive Sin Chai village, we spend an hour visiting this pretty Black H’mong village. Homestay and dinner in Sin Chai.

Day 2: Sin Chai – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai (B, L, D)

After breakfast taking a trip by foot to Cat cat and Y Link Ho – a small community in the hill’s.

In the afternoon visiting Lao Chai village and learning more about their culture and customs.

In Lao Chai village, you will participate in 2-hour hands- on class about batik, a traditional Black Hmong textile dyeing technique using wax and indigo. The Hmong people will assist guests in creating their very own batik art using local materials such as hemp textile and plant-based indigo dye.

Sin Chai

Day 3: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta chai – Sapa  (B , L)

After breakfast in the homestay trekking to Ta Van village to visit the Zay people. Zay is a small minority group who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam.

Walking to Giang Ta Chai village, where one can see the Red Dao people. The women of Red Dao have a very colorful red embroideries, coins on their clothing, and on their head they wear a red scarf. Some of the women have shaved off their eyebrows because a hairless face is considered, by the the Red Dao people, to be very beautiful. Making a stop for lunch before leaving Giang Ta Chai and driving towards Sapa.
